Horns at Texas tech

Mitchell back in at the start of the second half and on cute the offense absolutely craters. He’s the only one to take a shot and he’s 0-2.

I don’t know if our defense is outstanding or if Tech is just completely careless with the ball, but this is fun. Every fifth possession it seems like we’re stealing the ball.
 
Cunningham with a NHL level hip check ruled a Flagrant 2. Fans throw stuff on the court. 1 fan carried out by 4 police officers. Crazy scene.
 
Wow. Just crazy. Stuff still being thrown on the floor. Fireball bottle picked up by arena staff. Our team moved to middle of floor for protection. McCaslin had to come onto the mic to beg fans to quit throwing stuff on the floor.

Going to be an interesting final 10:16. 67-42 Texas.

Disappointed in him for doing that. He had no chance. And knew instantly he had made a mistake. Credit to both teams for not turning that into a brawl. I hope that doesn’t get Tech going. Really dumb by Brock.
 
Didn’t realize we’d have to actually fight to the finish.

It’s the Tech way to throw stuff.
 
73-58 with 3:56 to go. We've moved into the prevent defense and not looking for the shot until under 10 on the shot clock.

I don't like it. Screw that, keep your foot on the pedal.
 
81- 69 Final. Total domination by the Horns tonight. Only the 2nd home loss this year by Tech. We led start to finish, never under double digits in the 2nd half.

Hope we have a police escort out of Lubbock.
 
Getting road wins in B12 is super tough. Good win for the Horns.

Facts. He’s always seemed like a Horn fan to me. I met Fran once on a very early pandemic era flight. We were practically the only ones on the plane and sat on the same row with no one else around. He was hard at work study stats and taking a multitude of notes. I’ve always been a fan of his but after that, he is my favorite.
 
I don’t have a great feeling about this game, even though I should. It feels like we limped to the finish line and any good momentum built in the first half is all gone going forward.
