Correct. Say what you want about Mackovic - the man was not afraid to take a chance. That call totally surprised the Huskers, and James Brown found Lewis totally wide open (ten yards clear of the Husker DB).Roll left was the play I believe.
You know, I could believe the only ones not surprised were Mackovic and the 11 Texas players on the field. I thought this was an attempt to draw Nebraska offside. Lots of things went right on that play for Texas, among them Brown's fake to Ricky, Ricky's backside peel-back block on a closing Nebraska player, Lewis wrapping up just before the tackle (clued by watching the stadium video screen, he later said.)
