Peter Gardere and Saxton come to mind. I can't think of anybody else though...Now we have to search the Longhorn archives to find a suitable player who wore #10 - any suggestions?
I suggest that the Longhorns frame Gardere's jersey and bring it to the sidelines for every game against Zero U - just to remind the Osoners of that accomplishment.Peter Gardere
Here’s another. In fact, there are many more outstanding players who wore #11, but instead of swiping the images, I'm going to link to a fine article with pics on the jersey by Larry Carlson.
Included are Sam Ehlinger, Herkie Walls, Paul Jette, and Keith Cash among others.
DKR said he was the only player he had ever seen that could be running full speed, stop on a dime, turn around, and be at full speed on first step.

not ringing a bell? Please provide context.Well, nobody has posted up a player that came to mind this morning on 10 days away.... iconic photo!
I have a friend from So Cal who tells me he has recurrent nightmares about some guy from Texas. He says the nightmares are horrific but he can't think of the guys name either...something like Young Victor; he's not sure, but the word "inVINCEable" is always associated with the dream.Well, I stumbled upon this # 10 while surfing the Internet this morning.... I'm fuzzy on his name tho?
I like how Frostee Rucker looks like an Australian breakdancer in that picWell, I stumbled upon this # 10 while surfing the Internet this morning.... I'm fuzzy on his name tho?
Could have become the second coming of Steve Atwater if anyone had told Mackovic we actually had a defense.
Kwame Cavil. For a LB, he turned in to one hell of a good receiver
and legitimizing Jerry Jones as a "football man".Thus handing Arkansas the National Championship
