Not much DAC has written or sings that isn't. Haven't seen him perform in some time, but he used to have an encore of nothing but rock n roll. The guy is one helluva musician.



I happen to be in Village Inn Pizza Parlor the night this song was written about. "Loudmouth in the Corner" was carried out by ambulance to try to reattach a couple of his fingers. DAC never stopped singing during the altercation.

He's a lot like Bocephus & Mark Chestnut in that you never know what you'll get. See if you like some of his ballads like "Would You Lay With Me In A Field of Stone" or "Judy Like A Melody".

I missed that list first time through. Gotta say there is not one song on that list that I couldn't go the rest of my life without hearing, although I went through the 70s without hearing most of them. Can't remember much of the late 70s music except I think "Bat Outa Hell" came out in 77.

That list of tunes from March 1977 bring back a LOT of pleasant memories. Where I was, what I was doing, who I was dating, who I SHOULD have been dating, etc. Anyway, relatively carefree Senior college days.... however, similar to Sabre, there are only a few of those songs I still enjoy hearing on the XM oldies stations.

^^^ I liked Scotch artist Al Stewart and bought 8 track tapes of his albums. On the Border and Time Passages were also big hits for him.

Every time an Al Stewart song appears on the oldies SAT station it gives me a mellow feeling. What beautiful relaxing music. He was a strange character, but incredibly talented musician.

This particular PM CD always reminds me of driving in and around San Antonio and the Hill Country years ago when it was released. Fredericksburg, Hunt, Kerrville, etc. Gawd I love that part of Texas and dreamed to retire to that area one day.....
