2nd base continues to be a problem no matter who is playing it and going to be an issue next year unless the incoming class or someone on the bench has the glove to lock that position down.

runner steals 2nd, they had him but Flores couldn't come up with the ball.

ground ball to SS and Flores muffs the ball as well, off the glove, all runners safe. runners on the corners.

Now a passed ball by Galvan lets the runner get to 2nd.

and the errors come back to bite us, base hit through the left side scores 2 by the nine hole hitter. Defense had the shift on and the hitter goes away with it, just out of the reach of Flores.

Cincy up 4-3 now with 2 outs still, 1 on 1st.

Wild pitch or passed ball on a strike out swing lets the ball get to the back stop, runners safe.

Looked like a wild pitch but Galvan can't get in front of it cause he was on one knee, ball ricochet's to the back stop.

K to end the inning. Cincy up 4-3.

There are a lot of fundemental flaws with this team and ALL of them rear their head from time to time that cost this team runs and extra bases. It's no one's fault but Pierces for allowing it.
