eh, this year it might be but Augie lost several Tuesday games getting guys work for the playoffs. However, it does feel different now then it did then.

Coprus hasn't beaten Texas since 2019 when Texas finished last in conference. Texas won't finish last in the conference this year, this weekends games could put Texas at or near the top of the conference by winning the series.

So, looking ahead how good is Kansas aggie?

Selvig hung some meat up and in within the zone, and he paid for it dearly.

He's a True Freshman, he'll learn (with some good pitching coaching...).

Hard to say about KSU, you know they will play Texas hard though, it's their last opportunity to play them. KSU has lost to all the good baseball teams on their schedule, 5-1 in conference after beating Cincinnati 2-1 and sweeping Houston.

So, looking ahead how good is Kansas aggie?

They look really good on paper. Their issue is that they've racked up their good record beating a bunch of crummy teams. Against decent competition, of which they haven't faced much of yet, they're pretty so-so or worse.

Still, they're pretty good, and they have that goofball short stadium. The good thing is that our left-handed power hitters ought to be able to tee off and rack up a multitude of homeruns against KSU's Game 2 and Game 3 pitching.

KSU Pitcher Wentworth is very good. Wentworth vs. LBJ could turn into a real pitchers duel. There's a BIG DROPOFF from staff ace Wentworth to KSU's #2 and #3 starters. So, absent a collapse by Ace and Grubbs, we could probably take Games 2 and 3. Wentworth vs. LBJ for Game 1 could be a 2-1 or 3-2 nailbiter.

And our bats sometimes randomly freeze up.

the good news is, the weather looks great for playing baseball in Manhattan Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Texas should play well.

Interesting end last night. After the eyes, a drunk fan was heckling Pierce. Pierce starts yelling back at the fan to come down with a few choice words. Well, the fan proceeds to come on down into my section where he is met by a group who stopped him. Pierce meanwhile is in and out of the dugout looking for him while a fan fight almost breaks out several times.

Meanwhile we're looking for anyone who can call security or maybe security was around but nope, no one. So things finally calm down a bit and this sort of continues on the concourse as everyone heads towards the wxit yet still no security. WTF is going on? There should be someone to help, no?

Also, maybe Pierce should not focus on fans and pull an Augie taking his anger out on the team. Seriously? The heckler was absolutely in the wrong, but fighting with fans?
