I have to say that was surprised and disappointed that Shae was not added to the podium in the press conference. Yes, she had zero points, but she harassed and batted away so many passes that she was the defensive MVP of that game!

Shae has been there many times. I'm sure she isn't worried about not being there today.

Were you there in person or is this a TV observation? In person the place seemed like a sea of burnt orange to me, and I was particularly thrilled with the student turn out. Funny how perceptions can be different.

Here’s hoping we have another great crowd on Sunday! Alabama had almost nobody in attendance today. It’s a shame we aren’t playing FSU. Their fans were a hoot.

ESPN is so irritating. This is tournament time, MARCH MADNESS, and they showed wrestling - wrestling! And, even allowed wrestling to go into overtime cutting off much of the first qtr of the Texas game plus even had interviews with the wrestlers to delay it even further. Now I know those wrestlers had mommas and daddys watching but put wrestling on one of the lesser ESPN channels. Bet if it was a UConn women’s game they would have broadcast every second start to finish.

The Drexel Coach and players were well spoken and extremely respectful of Texas and the totality of their experience in Austin. I won’t say the stage was too big for them, but the enormity of Moody and the size of the crowd probably had them wide eyed.
It was refreshing to listen to those young ladies.

I'm impressed by the players at these media conferences. One of the many reasons I am grateful for Title IX is that it has given little girls-women the opportunity to experience the camraderie, teamwork and experiences of sports. And, I hope, use that experience in the workplace. Every office has a point guard, a ball hog and someone who commits dumb fouls. LOL

Yes, I have espn+ also but it is a pain to exit out of YouTube TV, go over to the apps section, select espn, wait for it to open, click espn+, find the correct section, find the game and wait for it to load. Next time I should probably just use the espn app and forget about YouTube TV.
