I did not understand why Dee did not play more. But then I am short more than a few basketball IQ points of being qualified to question Vic’s game plans and coaching. I really feel pretty good The team had their chances to win. As pointed out by a few - free throws! Also a number of momentum destroying bad possessions down the stretch. It didn’t help that the team spotted Baylor about 10 points to start the game. The team will only get better. And not many teams in conference are anywhere near Baylor’s level.
I agree completely.I would have liked to have seen Amo and Amina play together in the 2H. Although the box score isn't posted, I doubt Amo got more than 2 minutes of playing time in the 2H. Amo provided much needed energy, emotion and scoring in the 1H. I thought she could have come in for Hadi for a few series.

I’ll assume you really don’t know. Rori is out for the remainder of the season with an ACL and Taylor is out with a hip injury (return unknown)OK, Ive missed something! Why were Rori and Taylor out? Injuries?
What makes it even tougher is she will not be eligible for a medical RS, and I'm concerned that type of injury might not allow her to be back to full strength until early 2025. Hard to imagine that we might only get to see 3 1/2 more mos. of the best PG who has come through Texas in a while. Just awful, and it happened in a shoot-a-round no less. ACL injuries are ruining the sport.Watching this was difficult because you can truly see how much Vic adores Rori. Hopefully, he and Rori will feel better in the days to come.

I've even been wondering if perhaps Rori skips next season altogether. If the "one year rule" holds true then she still wouldn't be at full tilt until sometime after she actually returned to the court. I remember with Annette Smith... she was injured late in the season and skipped the entire next season to rehab. What makes it even tougher is she will not be eligible for a medical RS, and I'm concerned that type of injury might not allow her to be back to full strength until early 2025. Interesting thought. I recall when Lashann Higgs tore her ACL during her junior year. She struggled to return to form the year after her injury. The bulky brace restricted her speed and movement. It wasn't until she played pro in Europe that she regained her speed, agility and quickness.I've even been wondering if perhaps Rori skips next season altogether. I honestly forgot we signed a PG, but grateful to be reminded! I’m hoping she will be one of those that flew under the radar as to how good she really is. She certainly has an opportunity to show out if she’s up for the challenge. What is the matter with Bryanna Preston who is Point guard in the 2024 Recruiting class and will be here next year. I hear people moaning and groaning about needing a replacement for Rori! It sound like you guys know a lot more than what Vic does??
She is said to be an excellent defensive player.I honestly forgot we signed a PG, but grateful to be reminded! I’m hoping she will be one of those that flew under the radar as to how good she really is. She certainly has an opportunity to show out if she’s up for the challenge.
And loves playing defense first. Basically, she's Vic's dream point guard, a lot like Rori. She is said to be an excellent defensive player.
She's got decent size on her, too, at 5'9"And loves playing defense first. Basically, she's Vic's dream point guard, a lot like Rori.
