It looks like Selvig just isn't ready yet. His control is fine. His breaking stuff breaks some. He just hangs a lot of meat right in the middle and upper part of the zone, and batters on this level are making him pay for it dearly. He needs coaching, but his stuff is ok.

Meanwhile, we should get to see Zaharias. His velocity is as good as Tumis and Hudson Hamilton. His high school records were as good. Maybe he's hurt
