Don't believe we've ever lost a recruit due to them not able to watch our spring game.

I suspect the existential angst and raw emotional drama will be just too much for them to handle. I predict news of a wave of suicides sweeping through the HS football ranks because our game is "only" on LHN.

Don’t know about how high school recruits feel, but I am dis gruntled. About a dozen spring games are available on espn but not the Longhorns. I want UT’s on tv dammit!

First pass Owens completed was to Thatcher Milton. Coincidentally, Milton also played high school ball at Cy Fair High School. I think Milton was a senior in high school when Owens was just a freshman.

Can't see Milton getting reps at WR during the season, but maybe he plays on special teams. Regardless it was a great Saturday for Cy Fair Bobcats which historically has been an Aggie school. Current Bobcat DL Landon Rink is committed to A&M despite the fact his dad was a starting DL for the Horns.

Part of the Aggie stranglehold on CyFair was broken when the HC (a former Aggie starter) and the school principal were allowed to play allowed to play golf on a certain Longhorn's country club membership whether he was present or not.

To add insult to injury, that coach's son chose Texas over the Aggies. Really a great family.

Just my casual observation but Milton was a stand out to me. He has hands like Quan and Jordan did for Colt. I have yet to see that out of any of the other wr's we have. They may possess it but after Sarks comments about to many dropped balls, he was a very pleasant surprise and appeared to have some wheels after the catch!

Coach Ed was an exceptional guy and him winning the state championship against Waco Midway was the final icing on the cake for an incredible career. His teams were extremely well coached and very disciplined. All about blocking and tackling.....and having that one go to running back (e.g Sam McGuffie). Did not realize his son went to Texas.

I was part of the PA team that called the regional finals game against Lake Travis at Reliant Stadium. One of the best games I have ever seen in person.

Apparently, Mitchell can't move very well and has a shallow gas tank and there"s already talk of him hitting the portal.
Looks like January has already leap frogged him.

I saw Duncanville in the State Championship game.
IMO January was the best defensive player on the field and thats not taking anything away from Simmons.
January was in the backfield a lot.
