True. Its also nice to see speed and defense as the entire front 7 were rabid to get to the qb. Havent seen that in about 12 years from UT.It's fun to see UT t'ing off but I also see a very tough player in Bomar.

Given these NIL deals, why not place a big bag of money over the head of the QB at home games?True. Its also nice to see speed and defense as the entire front 7 were rabid to get to the qb. Havent seen that in about 12 years from UT.
Hungry Jack or Krysteaz Buttermilk?Having the pancake factory blocking for him might have a big influence
Hungry Jack or Krysteaz Buttermilk?
Son just told me aggie talk is Tex offering Ewers $4mil to keep him out of AnM. I hate the NIL.
Not sure I'm ready to believe that.Son just told me aggie talk is Tex offering Ewers $4mil to keep him out of AnM. I hate the NIL.
"aggy source"? Sheep can talk?Son just told me aggie talk is Tex offering Ewers $4mil to keep him out of AnM. I hate the NIL.
I totally agree, but you have to play the hand that’s given. It’s the same inequality as the NFL. Until the rules are changed, either you get aggressive or, you get passed up. I guess we shall see what happens in the next couple days. This is just one of the aspects I feared about the NIL from the beginning, a QB or RB make huge bucks and the lineman makes $50k? Yeah I know same is true to a degree in the NFL but these are 18-20 year olds. Gonna be some hard feelings particularly when that QB won’t be worth s*** if the Oline doesn’t perform. Ah who am I trying to kid, truth is I hate the NIL, period.
I'm not trying to convince you or change your mind here but do we not live in a capitalist country! Kids 18-20 going to be exposed to the same crap to a degree working at the fast food restaurants. Granted not that amount of money but you know what I mean. I also think there are going to be a lot of linemen that don't even see the field that are getting paid the same amount that are. A lot still needs to be ironed out. I honestly do not believe UT is paying Ewers that amount of money so he doesn't go to aTm. I have quite a few aggies I know and that work for me and they would not be able to keep their mouths closed to share that with me.This is just one of the aspects I feared about the NIL from the beginning, a QB or RB make huge bucks and the lineman makes $50k? The university isn’t making these NIL payments. These are deals outside of the school. What happens to the price of our tickets?
Yes and I am shaking my head over the Under Armor deal that Texas turned down. Could have come in handy. The university isn’t making these NIL payments. These are deals outside of the school.
Maybe not but it sure gives them pause to make claims. The university isn’t making these NIL payments. These are deals outside of the school.

You must not have worked at the same fast food restaurants I did. It was total equality no matter how much better you were at the job. It took me about 4 months to find another job in a different industry. The lineman example you use is exactly what happened to me. As long as you were on the roster, you got paid the same amount whether or not you performed at the same level. That type of system could lead to complacency rather than competition for the better deal.I'm not trying to convince you or change your mind here but do we not live in a capitalist country!
