Controversial opinions

Exactly! I love fatty meat.
In 2016 my teenage son lost 60 lbs by going keto, almost exclusively meat.
Is that still controversial? I don’t know but it shouldn’t be.
My calorie account app says “Mediterranean” diet is 50% carbs by calories. If I lower it to 45%, I lose 1-2 lbs per week. I think keto is <30% carbs by calories

Kind of sticking with the current theme here:
No actor has a tastier name than Kevin Bacon
Maybe Halle Berry mmm

Speaking of Kevin Bacon, he is one of the worst actors in the business to have such a long and sustained career. Quicksilver is one of the worst movies ever made. I loved the sound track but couldn't finish footloose because of him. Every time I see him on the screen I turn the channel.

As a past beagle owner, I would say causes *some* harm. Much harm is a little harsh.

Ok, so what about mutts? In my entire life I've owned one pure bred dog which ended up having red mange from the breeder. Before that dog and certainly after that dog I have only adopted. I would be willing to gamble that none of them had over 50% of one specific breed.

People who own mutts are extremely well-adjusted, happy, and quite blessed.

Products that are not milk from the teats of a mammal should not be allowed to advertise as “milk”. Almond “milk”, etc.

Here's one.

All food is organic. We don't eat anything that isn't carbon based.

I tried to stay away from this one, but I can't help myself. The organic food trend for the last 30 years is a massive waste of money for consumers and in my opinion is a ponzi scheme. They have duped two generations of people into believing there is a reason to eat it.

The marketing has been genius by using inference saying if you use this chemical that causes cancer on this fruit or veggie then you will get cancer. I have been in the food industry for a looooooong time and have never seen one medical report that conclusively links any illness to chemicals used on a fruit or vegetable. They've scared so many people into believing it now they "don't want to take that chance".

Now fast forward to today, every hipster wanna be thinks "organic" means that food has more health benefits. I can promise everyone here that a conventional and organic zucchini has exactly the same nutrients and "health benefits". Organic does not mean healthier.

There, I said it....flame away.

Vol,
Well said, and I, too, am waiting for explanations. The one possible exception is chicken and eggs. Chicken is the dirtiest animal on the planet. It is my understanding (from a report prepared for Charlie Butt back in the 80s) that organic chicken and organic eggs beneficial preventative measures for cancer patients.

Again, I had a copy and read it, but since it was proprietary I doubt it was published anywhere. That said, a cancer survivor in my family only eats or uses organic poultry products.

Don't know what the whores at MD Anderson have to say.

It's too bad Emo music went out of style.

It's almost enough to make you sit in the corner and cry.

It's a real cryin' shame.

Hitler created Volkswagen

So if you drive a Volkswagen, that must mean you like Hitler.:confused::confused::confused::confused:
