I’ve written about Welliver several times in the last few weeks, but I can’t stress how impressive he was on day one of the tournament playing for FSP. His big body is hard to miss out there, but he plays with such poise for a young player. Welliver showed great command of the offense with an effortless delivery. It’s still early, but I’ve only felt this way about one other quarterback that I saw that young, and his name was Quinn Ewers. ​

We have offered '24 QB julian Garcia from California.
Suppose to be really good.
Might be smarter to take Welliver, who is from Texas, instead of Garcia, if we have a choice.

Yes sir -- after the tweet I try to always post the 247 link for the player profile ... sometimes it shows with picture and rating sometimes it shows only as a link as above
 
lol ... this Kid reminds me of D Brown ... he seems to be a leader who is already trying to help recruiting by tweeting at other recruits ...

 
We sure are getting a lot of attention from WR’s from all over the country this cycle. I wonder why that is?
 
247 saying Texas is still paying close attention to QB DJ Lagway of Willis.

Lagway mentioned one of his best relationships is with Coach Milwee because they've been in touch the longest, and he speaks with Texas weekly.

He is planning on hitting campus this spring even though Sark hasn't offered yet.
