The ladies are back ready to get to work!
Sidenote: Elish seems to have a boot on her leg but I can't tell for sure.

Yeah all the ladies in the stands are players. All coaches are standing in the walkway. So I counted a couple of times and if the person at the top wearing burnt orange is Mary I and not one of the two female coaches, then it means all 25 players made it to campus. Including the 3 transfer-ins.

Anyone who has SA. Can you please let the rest of us know where the rest of our longhorns rank.
Sidenote: Anyone have any updates regarding the construction of the new facility?
Are those 8 days in the fall?
I hope they do stream the scrimmages. I personally think it's time for the softball team to have an orange and white scrimmage like how volleyball does. I mean we have enough people to have two teams now so why not introduce the team to the fans with a little friendly in house competition. Can we watch? Maybe I'll just hang out in the parking lot with a ladder
Perhaps that "culture" at Texas Tech will allow transfer Brianna Cantu to get immediate eligibility at Texas in January . . .Tech Softball coach steps down for personal reasons:

Hmmmmm. Now?!
And now, this explains it. Wow, Tech really doesn't do a good job hiring coaches. Or I should say the AD doesn't do a good job.Perhaps that "culture" at Texas Tech will allow transfer Brianna Cantu to get immediate eligibility at Texas in January . . .
Yes and the inside seems done because the players do post videos of them using the inside of the facility.Street barricades are gone
Those ugly vertical shutters? Translucent!
Note fans for the rebuilt bullpen
The bullpen is on the inside?? That's strange for the simple fact if you have cold weather in Austin which you will have during some games wouldn't you want your pitcher warning up in the weather she will be pitching in instead of the heat inside the building? Or maybe warm up to get loose inside then take a couple pitches outside to get adjusted? That may not be a problem but it seems like it could be.Looks like the addition is done.
For perspective, this is the original project rendering:
Removed the fancy lattice in front of the windows
Landscape planted. The original entrance on the West side has been moved North. Looks like one of the emergency generators and other equipment have been moved down to the old entrance and fenced off
Touchup work
I don't think the old bullpen will be the new bullpen. Makes sense that the new bullpen is now inside the new building
Yeah, I don't know. I thought originally that they would just rebuild the bullpen where the original one was. The reason was that there's a huge light pole at the corner of the bullpen and removing it (covering it up with a building) and putting it elsewhere may not have been worth the cost. And then the two big fans(?) attached to the wall re-enforced that. But the latest picture shows a door leading into the training area. So I thought that having a door as a "backstop" was kinda odd. Half tempted to run through the stadium and snap pictures before I got tackled by someone, but eehhhh, I figure we'll see next......February? BTW, the training area had lights lit from inside and the car parked on the street might have been a player for early morning practice. The bullpen is on the inside?? Yeah Lauren Burke makes Tik Tok videos now and has some videos of them batting inside the building.Yeah, I don't know.
