VY bar fight

Where the hell is VY posse? I agree he needs to stay outta bars but damn he took that suckered punch and noone had his back.

What's a person doing in a place like this to begin with. A combo auto repair shop, shot bar?? It looks like a place where a bunch of wannabe MMA fighters would hang out. And yes LH, why does a celebrity go to a place like this without someone to have his back? He may be a hero to us, but there's certainly plenty of aggriods and losers in Houston.

VY did good things for Texas mid 2004 season to the final minute of the 2006 Rose Bowl. He forever changed the trajectory of the program not coming back for his senior year.

He's never been a hero to me. This thread proves it.

Flame away.

VY did good things for Texas

"good things" I think you are understating things a bit there my friend. He did amazing things in his time on the 40 acres including an MVP performance in what many consider the greatest college game of all time. Which just happened to delivery the Natty to Texas for the first time in over 40 years.

I agree he doesn't have to be anyone's hero but I think he should be just as celebrated for his accomplishments on the field as anyone who has ever worn the Burnt Orange uniform.

Vince is a fallible human. I'm just glad that my "F-Ups" weren't plastered on the front pages, in social media, on public bathroom toilet stalls (that I know of)...

You know me. I am very understated.

He may not be a hero or football hero to u and that's fine. He, Colt, Shipley, Quan, and some others r Longhorn football heroes to me. On top of it, I met and briefly spoke to both VY and Colt on separate occasions and they were both nice as can be. If it wasn't for VY, there would be no Natty for Texas since 1970 or so. VY definitely needs to stay out of certain places and/or get better people to help u out. That was a blatant cheap shot by that dude. Could have killed or severely injured VY if his head hit the floor hard.

I meant "to help him out."

VY is one of the best college players of all time. He's a legend, end of discussion. Cam Newton wishes he was VY.
VY is 1 of the best college football players ever. So is Tebow and Cam. Cam's Natty year was just as phenomenal as VY's Natty year. Tebow had a phenomenal career and Natty year also.

I remember watching Cam at Auburn and thinking he was a poor man's VY. Still think the same. Nowhere near as explosive but still dominant.

All I know is that I watched Tebow, Cam and VY win Nattys bc of their skills and win at all cost ability. Incredible running college QBs. I didn't like Tebow or Cam but I saw what they did to defenses. VY did the same.

I agree. They were all unstoppable in their own way. Tebow was arguably the most physically imposing. Dude was a tank that could throw. Cam was big. VY had the freakiest athleticism.

Michael Vick was VY before VY. He's up there too. Then there was Tommie Frazier. I still remember him just abusing Florida.

I agree with u about Vick. He was just as awesome as these 3 guys but couldn't win the Natty against a fantastic FSU team. Frazier was very good but I never thought that he could win a big game just by his own will-power.

Vick was quick AF and had a monster arm. Maybe a better comparison is Kyler Murray. I'd take Vick between the two.
