Hintzen’s late goal secured a 1-0 victory over fifth-ranked West Virginia — the 2016 national runners-up — Sunday at Mike A. Myers Stadium, moving the 17th-ranked Longhorns to 10-0 on the season.

The loss ended a string of 24 matches without a loss for the Mountaineers, which was the longest streak in conference history. Sunday’s defeat was only their second since joining the league in 2012 (36-2-3).

Lady Horns jump to #8 in TDS ranking as the last team in NCAA without a loss or a draw. Looks like these girls have really nice chemistry. I've watched three matches and everybody looks really fit. Lots of good motors and good vision out there. I haven't seen any quit in them really ever.

Looking forward to this weekend's match up. Thankfully the Sunday game against OU will be on ESPNU. Looking forward to supporting the ladies Friday night. Might have to do a one man band tailgate, or is there a group of fans that's doing it already?
