Texas vs #11 OU

These back to back wins over top 10 teams won't fit the narrative many on here want to have for this team.

Big road win for the Horns.

Second game in a row that I am left wondering just what kind of team is Texas, the one that farted around in Morgantown and at home against UCF or the one that now has back to back wins over top 15 teams. I guess we just have to wait and see each game for which Texas team will show up. If they go on a long run does Terry's horns down rant maybe seem like a turning point?

Good win. Big win.

This was the second game in a row where, had we played like the Debbie downers and the Terry haters doubters expected, we would have been blown out. Instead, we demonstrated that this team has a pretty high ceiling. I acknowledge that we also have a pretty low floor to go along with it.

I am going to take credit for the two wins. The only games that I have watched all year was Baylor and tonight. You're welcome.
I’ll join you as the only two games I haven’t watched at all were Baylor and tonight. So I probably won’t watch anytime soon. In the words of Crash Craddick you don’t F with a winning streak, and if I think they are winning because I don’t watch, then they are.

Is playing Weaver over Horton the secret sauce?
He certainly hustles his *** off and seems to have ignited the whole defense. Horton may be a better shooter, but Weaver has been able to get to the basket and Weaver definitely brings more on defense. Maybe if Weaver had played more earlier the conference record would be better.

Weaver looking a lot like his UTA self, while Hunter was back down to earth. Our biggest asset last night was OU not being able to hit the broad side of a barn with a beach ball. Pretty terrible shooting led to transition points for the good guys.

We had only 2 fast break points at the half. How many did we finish with?

Also, Weaver is just a sophomore so his offensive potential probably hasn't been reached.

Only 7, but I was counting "them missing and us not missing" as part of the transition points. We'd outbody for a lot of boards and then hit at the other end.
Fair enough. We did benefit from OU being ice cold. Of course, we also benefited from playing lock down D at other times.

This team is schitzo.

This fits for me. Not a doubter at all, but I don't know that Terry is a big winner either.

Maybe it's the players that aren't consistent. As a Mavs fan (nba), Tim Hardaway Jr is what he is and you can't coach it out of him...streaky. But maybe a couple of ours will become consistent.

One of those ou sites on Facebook was urging its fans to show up last night and do horns down so the cameras could catch it. Guess that didn't help any...
