Is this one of those "must win" games? I mean seriously if we lose a 5th straight baseball game the ground around the UT campus might actually shift a little. The team's collective sphincter must be really really tense right now.

Probably too early in the season for "must win" but there has to be some progress from the dumpster fire of late. Again, we shouldnt have to figure out who/how to pitch in the middle of the season.

Five game losing streak is unreal. 2019 is the last time we had a losing streak that long. (It was 6 games.) And of course we finished dead last in the Big 12 that season.

That would seem to play into the raiders benefit, playing in those kind of conditions down right suck.

Agreed but I was looking at it earlier this week, Texas doesn't have any more meat on their schedule beyond Tech and TCU, unless OU or OSU improve. Looking tough to even host a regional at this point. If Texas loses the series this weekend, they are not likely to win the one against TCU, probably means they won't be hosting.

IDK, i'm not an expert, just trying to play the probability out rationally.
