The class of 2019 for the Men's team was ranked #1. Most likely the class of 2020 will also be ranked #1 with three commitments ranked in the top 7 as of today. #1, #5, and #7 ranked players are UTs commitments. The future is very, very bright for this team!

I saw that the women have the #7 recruit right now. Have you heard as to why Petra Granic, Bojana Markovic, and Madison Cleff are not on the roster?

The University of Texas had a dream run in 2019, capturing their first-ever NCAA Team Championship. When you have that kind of success on the tennis court, recruits across the nation are bound to take notice. Longhorn Head Coach Bruce Berque has commitments from three Blue Chip seniors - tops among all programs. Local product Leighton Allen (Austin, Texas) will join Micah Braswell of Sarasota, Fla., and Eliot Spizzirri of Greenwich, Conn., at Texas in Fall 2020. All three of these seniors appear in the Top 10 of the TRN Class Rankings.

After 1 semester at Texas, Lexi Ryngler (UTR 11.11) has decided to transfer and has verbally committed to
@WavesTennis
for fall of 2020. The former blue-chip recruit has a WTA singles career-high ranking of #748 & has an ITA singles ranking of #43 with an 11-3 record in the fall.

That’s a blow. Coach needs transfers now. Can barely finish the season. And then has a lot graduating!

He’s getting great results but we’re losing players frequently as well.
 
Adrienn Nagy was suppose to enroll Spring 2020. I don't know if she decided to stay pro or will enroll at UT
 
In a couple of the recent team photos, I am seeing two very tall young ladies. I know one of them is 6'3 Tijana, but not sure who the other one is. It's not Adri Nagy, as she is in the photos, but not that tall.

 
So, what's the latest on Lexi Ryngler and Lulu Sun?

I see that Sun is still not listed on the Texas roster.

And, I noticed that Ryngler did not play against NC State or Georgia Tech this past week.
 
I heard Turati's are considering, though Anna maybe more likely than Bianca. I think Anna still has some classes left to finish. With the WTA on pause, it actually my favor their return as Coach Joffe is very supportive of his team playing in pro tournaments. I couldn't imagine getting a sponsorship will be easy this year as well as trying to get tournaments in to boost up ranking to get into bigger tournaments.

I also get a feeling Ito may also be considering to especiallyw with a chance to focus on a Masters Degree
