Really tough to see him like that, but so grateful that he was able to hang on for the ceremony, and that the NFL & his teammates were with him.

et, it was definitely a two Kleenex box presentation.

I got to thinking back about Brazoswood winning the state championship back in 1974 with David Hodge. What if Steve and family had stayed in Lake Jackson and he’d played on that team.
What a tandem that would have been.

Hodge single-handedly beat PNG in the Dome, scoring both touchdowns and shutting out the Indian offense.
