I thought it might be fun before the season, midseason, and at the end of the season, to project or speculate were current players might eventually be drafted.

For the purpose of this exercise, I’m only going to include first and second rounders, and not necessarily in the 2025 draft. For example, we are all know that Ant OK Hill will not be eligible until 2026, but I am including him.

Pre Season. Not Eligible in 2025 in ().

1st Rounders -

Ewers
Banks
Isiah Bond - Based on the hype.
(Malik Muhammad)
Cam Williams
(Ryan Wingo - 2027. Can’t miss.)
(Arch Manning)

2nd Rounders -

Trey Moore
Jaydon Blue
DJ Campbell
(Colin Simmons - Slow starter so far?)
Silas Bolden
(Ty’ Anthony Smith - Plenty of buzz.)

Too early to project.

Your list seems more "First 3 rounds" and "Last 4 rounds" to me.

I get that we like making predictions about freshmen, but it's nearly impossible unless we've seen those flashes already. I would have sworn that Cory Redding would be a 1st-rounder from the moment he committed to Texas until maybe the last months of his college career. I get that guys like Wingo are special, but that really doesn't mean much until we see results.

Bolden is a good example of someone who could go anywhere from 2nd round (speed) to undrafted (doesn't get enough touches). I'm hoping he's kind of this year's J-Whitt and proves himself, but I wouldn't put him near the 2nd round of the NFL Draft either.

The only ones I'd put in Rounds 1-3 right now:
Banks
Manning
Ewers
Campbell
Bond
Hill
T Moore

Anyone else has too many questions to answer.
