I do not have any objection to pray those involved in challenges/difficulty but I have a personal conviction that we can pray effectively that things won't happen.
I want to pray for an injury free/lightened season for the football team. I personally feel like the heightened expectation/visibility will make cheap shots more likely than normal.
Lets pray for the team now before the season. What can it hurt?
