Or Governor - should have put that in title.

For other smaller elections like County Judge.

Thank God! I love when New Yorkers tell me who to vote for!

"Dozens showed up to show support for Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo at a reelection rally on Tuesday morning—including none other than famed 'Hamilton' creator Lin-Manuel Miranda. The award-winning Broadway playwright and actor made a special appearance at the event hosted by political action committee Latino Victory Fund at Bohemeo's in Houston's East End. He was joined by multiple local officials, including U.S. Reps. Sheila Jackson Lee and Sylvia Garcia.

Expounding on his seemingly unanticipated endorsement, Miranda, who lives in Washington Heights, N.Y. ..."

He's the epitome of the term "one hit wonder". Besides Hamilton, which does have great music and a creative theme (he wrote it with another guy - to what credit Miranda gets I'm not sure) the rest of his stuff has been dreadful.

Funny how El Comendante' as she's called in Houston, claimed she was too sick to appear in Commission's Court that day, when a lot of cops were going to give her a piece of their mind, but miraculously healed in time for the fund raiser.

She's finished as County Judge. Even the Houston Comic, which never endorses a Republican who has a viable Democrat opponent (they endorsed Cruz (!) in 12 as his opponent was some scrub), has come out against her. Rats off her sinking ship.

Her Chief of Staff and two other aides have been indicted for a fraud related to a fixed Wuhan virus vaccine outreach program, which got funneled to a one person company instead of a major hospital, who turned in a better and cheaper bid. If she loses in November, she'll lose her Democrat party immunity badge and get indicted too.

Another wacko, Ms. Stogner...

Sarah Stogner, an oil and gas attorney, lost to Christian by double digits in the runoff. Her campaign turned heads not only for the racy ad but also $2 million in funding she got from a West Texas rancher and friend who had been battling the Railroad Commission over abandoned oil wells on her property.

Stogner said she was supporting Warford, a former state Democratic Party staffer running on fixing the power grid, because she simply believed he would do the job better. She also said in a statement that he is not 'your typical Democrat,' calling him 'pragmatic and pro-business.'"

She does have a hot bod though. Credit where it's due.

I think everyone is racist because everyone feels more comfortable around people that look like them yet I promise to never say that, if I'm running for office.

Maybe, but I'm not so sure. Maybe it's because I've been around the military for the last ten years or maybe it's a generational thing, but I'm a lot more comfortable around black or Mexican dudes of any age than I am around a bunch of douchie, candy *** white guys with man-buns from the millennial or GenZ generations. They're pretty much useless to me.

6721,

I assure you that the lack of paper at predominantly Republican precincts is purely coincidental. It's reasonable to believe that no indictment will be forthcoming against Dora.

The question is will we see a tangible change in 2024 and will it affect the elections outcomes? We should expect a bit more success for Rs if Elon is still in control.

Why don't you ask the campaign instead of Hornfans? I really doubt you're going to find an expert in political campaign/lawyer retainer fees hanging out here.

She's a puppet for Rodney Ellis. Isn't that reason enough?

He's slimy, but it always surprised me how much more obnoxious and less serious black members of Congress are than black state legislators. Even though I usually disagreed with them, Rodney Ellis, Royce West, and certainly many of the black House members (Ron Wilson, Sylvester Turner, Glen Lewis, Jesse Jones, Harold Dutton, etc.) over the last 30 years were fairly conscientious state legislators. They were reasonably intelligent guys who carried serious legislation and generally worked the process to try to enact it, and not all of it was bad. They weren't just dumbasses who screamed stupid **** and hogged the camera, but for the most part, that's what the Congressional Black Caucus has been. The overwhelming majority of them don't do **** (except corrupt ****), and that has been true since the early '70s.
