Need Help: Linking a Name to a Web Address

There was a code for linking a name or title to a web address, so one could click that to go to the website instead of having a lengthy web address in view.

Hypothetical Example:
Instead of http://www. BurntorangecustomtailgatebbqpitsbyWalt.com

Have this instead link to the web address:
TexasLonghornBBQPits

I cannot recall how to do that. I know brackets were used but can't recall the formula.

It may have been similar to this...
[Name=http://www.BurntorangecustomtailgatebbqpitsbyWalt]TexasLonghornBBQPits[/]

But that doesn't look right.

@Bevo71 — It's in the FAQ here: hornfans.com/faq/#link
You don’t need to use brackets or codes.

1. In your post, type the text that you want to turn into a link
2. Copy the link / URL that you want the text to go to
3. Select the text and click the link icon above
4. Paste the URL

This will assign the link to your text. PM me if you have questions.

I do have more questions. How do I pm you? Been a while since I have posted here, so still getting familiar with the layout.
