Ok Not to be stupid but does that mean if/when We beat St. Peters we would play Barnes and Tenn?
I am reading Tenn is having their own problems
 
Have to beat Virginia or csu. Virginia usually plays tough defense and deliberate offense, so that matchup probably wouldn’t be a good one. I would say that it is about as good of a seeding and side of the bracket as one could have hoped for. I think we are over seeded as a 7 but that is just a number, and I doubt there is all that much difference between teams seeded 6-11.

I love that Ou had their feelings hurt so much from failing to make the NCAA tournament that they decided not to play in the NIT. What a true loser decision.
 
Indiana State got screwed. They're the first team in the "NET" era to have a ranking better than #35 and not make the tournament. They're ranked ahead of 8 at-large teams. St. Johns was more of a "meh" for me, although they have the same argument (being ranked better than #35).

I can see the rationale for not letting OU in, as they lost games at a 2-to-1 tick down the stretch.

Seaton Hall beat St. John's twice in the regular season so that answers the St. John's issue.

Agreed. Indiana State belonged in, but OU did not. I even heard the committee chairman say, "OU sucks."
 
Props to Long Beach State for making it in. (formerly the 49ers, now referred to collectively as "The Beach").

(My dad was Director of Bands at CSU-LB in 1959-63)

Houston was regular season conference champs.
The gooners went 8-10 in conference play.

OU didn’t beat Texas, win the regular season, but they do indeed still suck so you got that part right
