Only 5 full-member schools in the Big 12 have varsity rowing programs. Until this year, those 5 teams plus Tennessee, Alabama, and Old Dominion were affiliate members of C-USA for rowing. When C-USA imploded, the Big 12 added rowing and Tennessee, Alabama, and Old Dominion joined the Big 12 as affiliate members.
