Someone speculated on this a while back, but Joe Fan might have been leaking to much free information to the public, whether he got it from IT or 247 (I don't know).
I listened to Mike Roach a few weeks ago on a podcast about how this is an issue, and I am sure other jounalists run into the same thing.
