OK that was thrilling, and heartbreaking and awesome and disappointing and so freaking awesome/devastating. This morning and even at the half I would have taken a draw in a heartbeat but I and every US fan got greedy didnt we. One moment of brilliance from the Pretty One. Thursday will be incredible with so many permutations in play but.........

I BELIEVE WE WILL AT LEAST TIE!!!!!

Germany is the #3 team in the world and while in every other sport a tie is either not possible or not good, here it would be an absolutely fabulous thing.

I believe that Germany would be quite happy with a draw as they still move on as the #1 team in the group on goal differential.

So hey USA if you would like to play along and advance as the #2 team we are fine with it.
