Hornfans 2.0 - one year today

A milestone worth noting: one year ago today—February 17, 2015—we launched the new Hornfans. Thanks to all of you for being a part of it. And a very special thanks to the Hornfans Sponsors and other contributors who helped make it possible to bring the new site online last year. It would not have happened without your support.

A big thanks also to @BevoBeef and @NBHorn7 for helping out with many things this past year, mostly behind the scenes, and @Godz40acres for his tireless contributions to the recruiting updates. You guys are terrific.

So here’s to a great 2016 on Hornfans and many more wins to celebrate with our favorite Longhorn teams.

After more than 10 years as the University of Texas' beloved sideline mascot, Bevo XIV is set to retire following a diagnosis with Bo vine Leukemia Virus. Bevo XIV will be going out on a high note, following Texas' recent victory over OU in the Red River Rivarly showdown in Dallas.

This reminds me that the first year of the new Hornfans saw the demise of Mistah Señor Comrade Loop.

It seems he was conumed by a snek that likes kek, or something like that.

So in memoriam we offer this fond remembrance of the most prodigous poster on Hornfans, well at least in quantity.



Does this not bring a tear, to the collective eye of Hornfans nation?

Should have been a "classic," but being on the Cactus Cafe, it didn't get enough "exposure," so to speak.
