Wanted some prayers for my friend Leonard. He is the lead worship pastor at our church in St. Charles, IL. His wife and daughter were driving back from Nashville, TN, when around 4 AM sunday morning, a drunk driver crossed the median into their lane and collided head on with their car. His 24 year old daughter was killed instantly, while his wife suffered some broken ribs, but is still alive. His daughter was driving, her seatbelt was on and the airbags did deploy, but she still passed away at the scene.
His brother just passed away about 3 months ago, and his father had comitted suicide a long time ago. He's suffered many tragedies in his life.
Please pray for his family. He has another son, and a younger daughter that they have the strength to endure this and to forgive the other driver. At least they knew she had Jesus in her heart and is sitting by him right now.
