Dream fulfilled with a Longhorn bonus

Vino Bevo

Wine - how classy people get drunk
For you baseball purists out there - I’ve been a huge Red Sox fan since childhood (long story) and while it’s always been a dream to catch a game at Fenway, they’ve either been out of town or it wasn’t baseball season when I’ve been in Boston in years past. Well, I’m in town this week for meetings and FINALLY have the opportunity to go. Goose bumps galore as I feel like a little kid watching my team and doing so in such a cathedral of not just baseball but sports overall. Fan or not, you’ve got to visit here, and Wrigley, at least once in your life.

For a really nice bonus, David Hamilton has played two nice games and I’ve been able to throw up a Hook’Em a few times!

Wow, incredible time for you Vino!

Enjoy your dream first RED SOX game @ FENWAY!!!

I would love to see 1 game at Fenway and Yankee stadium before I assume temperature. Unlikely but 2 on my list to dream about!

Meantime, I did get one bucket list item done last season - THE TEXAS RANGERS won The 2023 World Series Championship!!! :texasflag:

Would love to make it to Fenway too. Wrigley Field was incredible when I went about 15 years ago.

Last time I was in Boston I did get to go by Fenway - unfortunately, the Sox were on a road trip that day, so no chance to go to a game. But at least I can say I've seen the ballpark.

I've never been a Red Sox fan, but when I was in Boston in 2018 I was very excited to attend a game at Fenway. As a bonus, Brandon Workman pitched that day so I got to see a former Longhorn pitch in a historic ballpark. A great experience.

I went to a game at Fenway several years ago when Bagwell was getting inducted into the HOF. We flew into Boston so went to the game. Not like any other ballpark I have ever been to. I went to kinda roam around the place and I was walking along a path that was up at the top of the lower lever seats. It's about 1.5 people wide, seats on my left, and on my right, the street below.

Sounds like you had a great time!

I have been fortunate enough to see games at both Wrigley and Fenway and for any baseball fan those are two cathedrals you have to get to at least once. Riding the train to those games, the scene in Wrigleyville and on the streets around Fenway, is almost as much an experience as seeing the game.
