We will be trekking to CC/PA June 12-16 to watch some softball at Whataburger field. I am looking at vacation rentals there. By Google Maps, it seems that the Mustang Island side is closer, but there are quite a few more rentals on the Port A side. Any suggestions or places to avoid? It's been years since we have been to CC, and I know much has probably changed. Softball is the main focus of the weekend, but we do want some good restaurants and obviously beach time. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. It would be nice to have a drop down by city of things to do and good restaurants recommendations. Maybe the web designer can create this.
