On making it back to NCAA post season play. Looks like they're going to face Rice in round one. Their tough schedule really paid off as they have a current NCAA RPI rank of #28. Great job, Horns!

Strong performance by the team. Playing at ND in the cold won't be easy, but the Horns have a great opportunity with this bracket. The Irish are seeded below both TT and WVU; we beat Tech and the Red Raiders took care of ND this year. In rd one the Irish won 1-0 vs. RPI #86 Valparaiso while the Horns took out #37 Rice 3-0. A potential sweet 16 matchup vs the ags should provide plenty of motivation in rd two!

Just saw the release and we face the Irish in College Station; not sure why I thought we were playing at ND in rd two. Horns should definitely have a big crowd on hand for the matchup. Looks like the Big12 has two teams through to second round play thus far, with Kansas still due to play today vs. Missouri. OU, OSU and WVU all fell in opening round action; particularly tough PK loss for the Moutaineers after a great season. I thought they had a legit chance of making a deep run this year. Would be nice to see the Jayhawks win today; three teams through to the second round would be a good result for the conference.
