I don't play golf and I'm not much of a fan, especially of the golf crowds and the ridiculous things they shout out during a tournament. But I am a sports fan and like to watch the final round of a major as I understand the drama and the stakes involved. I've seen enough to say that Brooks' performance yesterday was one of the greatest I've ever witnessed. Being able to keep his composure knowing that Tiger was bearing down on him, cheered on by a jacked-up crowd was remarkable. He hasn't been getting much respect but he has mine.
