In an attempt to preview all the teams competing for the last Quidditch World Cup, the Quidditch Post interviewed the UT coach and captain of the Texas quidditch team. These are excerpts from that interview that happened less than two months ago before the Longhorns won their third World Cup championship. Even though Coach Kenny Chilton is a true quidditch star, he is a man of few and concise words. GET YOUR BROOMS UP !!

Kenny: Win.Quidditch Post: UT is the two-time defending champion. What will it take to get World Cup number three?
Kenny: Can't really answer that one.QP: I'd venture there are 79 other teams with the same goal. How will you separate yourselves from them?
Kenny: It's fun to win. That's how we have fun.QP: UT has obviously had a tremendous run of success. What has that meant to you and to the other veterans of the program?
Kenny: Focus. Drawing importance to the important things.QP: I understand. UT has a policy to not get very involved in the online aspects of quidditch and to focus on the on-the-field game. What impact do you think that has?
Kenny: A nice tan, maybe.QP: Beyond a championship, what do you hope the team takes away from World Cup?
Kenny: I wish we could play all 79 other teams, just in the interest of exposure.QP: Are there any teams in particular you want to face?
Kenny: One of our concerns is that some teams don't seem to be educated on how to tackle. That is a Day One lesson.QP: You had some injury concerns coming out of the regional championship. Anything that will be concerning going into World Cup?
Kenny: Not really. We don't have any "star players."QP: Can you talk a bit about some of the team's star players?
Kenny: I wouldn't describe it as anything other than quidditch.QP: How would you describe the team's style of play?
Kenny: No comment.QP: What do you want your opponents to know about UT?

Kenny: No problem!QP: Thanks for your time, Kenny; we appreciate it!
