Phil Harris (seated 4th from left), McWilliams standing 5th from left.............recognize several others just cant get names

I wouldn't swear to it but I think that's Tom Stockton right behind Phil Harris. Tommy Wade is the guy on the back row looking away and I think that's Hix Green seated in blue shirt third from the right.

Y'all did a good job picking out some of those players.

Impressive how many are still alive and came back. However, they are so far away from the camera and their faces are kind of dark it is hard to tell most of them even as a guess.

Back row, 3rd from right, dark shirt, may be Duke Carlisle? I looked hard for Tommy Ford but cannot get a bead on anyone.

Off the top of my head, I know these former members of that team have passed away: Scott Appleton, Knox Nunnally, Pete Lammons. Know there are others I don't know about or forgot.

Went to the Cotton Bowl game vs Navy with fiance', now wife of 58 yrs. Still have ticket stub. Had freshman English with Charles Talbert and Sandy Sands.

I probably crapped my diaper some time during that game. I have no memory of the game or the crapping though. Your story is far better than mine.

I remember being 10 years old and watching the game with my Dad. I credit the Jan. 1 1964 UT vs Navy game as what made me a Longhorn fan for life!
